Mantou in Mandarin means Steamed bun. Locals say it’s called that way because the trail on a birds eye view looks like a Mantou.

Mantou Mountain (Yuandunzi, Yuanshan, Yuanshan), A small hill located at the junction of Zhonghe District and Banqiao District in New Taipei City. This place was opened as Ziqiang Park early on. The mountain trail in the park is easy to walk up. The foundation stone is near the pavilion on the top of the mountain.
