This is my favorite shot. The emotion speaks loudly and the message is delivered briefly and by saying that I mean, everything I had that time was perfect on its own! I fell in love with the place and I will cherish it forever.

Why is Woobar 1 of the most beautiful places to visit in Taipei?

First of all, I wish I could give justice to the amazing experience I had in Woobar because in my 14 years in Taiwan, this Woobar experience was definitely on top of the most recommended places to visit in Taipei.

When we say “give justice” to something, it is most precisely referring to giving enough adulation, admiration and appreciation to something. Earlier this year, due to Covid-19 pandemic, I and my family couldn’t make it to Japan. Although it was seemingly possible to fly on that specific period of time, I reckoned it wouldn’t be a practical decision considering the infection in Japan that time was considerably high and the big amount of money that would be wasted in quarantine so I decided to stay put.

Family Tradition

However, it’s like a family tradition to go somewhere nice annually so I had to make do of the available resources and be creative. I googled the key words “5 star hotel” with a “pool in Taipei” then kazoom, I found W Taipei on the top searches page. I tried to check W Taipei’s website, went over on their social media and in an instant my eyes fell in love with the breathtaking view at Woobar W Taipei.

What is this place?

Woobar is a lounge bar that serves as a relaxation space by day and a function place at night. You can enjoy great cocktails and a simple menu at daytime too but as the evening comes an exciting party awaits. I might be able to enjoy the “pardee pardee” when my kids would be old enough to be allowed to be admitted. Haha! But Woobar is definitely what I was looking for! Elegance and finest ambiance all in one spot.

5 Star Hotel is a Mission Impossible

Typically in other countries, like in the Philippines, It would be relatively safe to assume that a five star hotel is like a mission impossible for those even with average income because mostly or perhaps in other nations, a 5 star hotel could either be super expensive or challenging to locate or reach.

Nevertheless, in Taiwan, nothing is too hard to achieve if you know how to google, call and inquire. Fortunately, when I asked for a reservation at Woobar for 2 adults and 2 young kids, we were able to get the spot I wanted for us which was by the window overlooking the turquoise swimming pool.

My original choice was outdoor, at the pool side but the staff was too nice and told me politely that as she was considering I would be there with 2 kids with me, the weather and the low temperature on a February might make us feel uncomfortable so she most generously offered that mini interactive space by the window, overlooking the swimming pool.

Instagram-able Spots

Everyone was excited over the weekend thinking that the pictures would be “exactly” the same in the actual situation but I was wrong! The place in an actual cognitive perspective is even better! It’s tidy, comfy and most importantly suitable for my young guests, BBK and BBZ. The family enjoyed the table games for free and I had so much fun with my pictorials of the place including the instagramable key points that I most certainly recommend to anyone who wish to visit W Taipei. (Even the restroom looked surprisingly exquisite)

Amazingly, our annual family day was well spent at Woobar W Taipei! I had nothing else to say but pure admiration and gratefulness for the warm accommodation. My kids even had fun at the skating rink for free. This W Taipei offers a lot of promotions almost every week so all you guys have to do is check out what’s in store for you at your desired time and date. This is why I cannot guarantee that you could avail the skating rink because of the variations of their promotions as well.

Dreamy and fancy

Woobar is like a dreamy place for couples, a fancy place for families and a thrilling place for the squad! Nothing else matters if you come to Woobar and grab a bite of their simple menu and take a sip of their fine cocktails. Just relax, take a deep breath and forget about the stressful life you have. Feel the wind, cleanse your thoughts and perhaps go wild? Hahaha!

Awesome Woobar experience

I had an awesome Woobar experience at W Taipei and I would definitely be wandering around it’s hotel rooms, urban oasis, Yen Chinese restaurant and nature electrified! I’m pretty confident that each special location would give me the best feeling of satisfaction one could ever imagine! If you’re a foodie, geez, never ever leave Taipei without dining in at Yen Chinese Restaurant! You gotta be here pal!
