It was August 2020, last year during the pandemic and I hosted a Dance Competition in Kaohsiung, when I discovered this awesome bistro. It’s an unexpected haven for this place is located in a cultural commercial site near Dagang Bridge. The place is more like that of Huashan in Taipei.

You wouldn’t expect it to be in Dagang area because many of the shops are handmade products, clothes, accessories and of course street food.

Although many parts of the world are in a quarantine mode and several others had to stay at home, Taiwan last year was pretty much unaffected by Covid-19. The people were living a normal life except for the facemask that should be worn anytime and anywhere. Affordable Bistro in Taipei and Kaohsiung

The amazing Food and Drinks

The food and drinks are not just for grown ups though. Kids love the flavor and it’s beautiful presentation too! I can’t remember how many plates we had but we surely had a full stomach. We were also very lucky to avail a promo on that day. We paid less than a thousand NT dollar for the food plates. The beer was also affordable and the taste makes you wanna dream of it. I also had much fun with the beer tasting session.

One would think that a bistro would look so boring but look at this! Isn’t it so romantic? I bet someone got engaged here and celebrate love with Beer Talk’s Live Band from the Philippines! My kababayans!

From a romantic nest to a sports media corner only at Beer Talk Bistro Koahsiung. If you miss going abroad, well Beer Talk is truly the place to mend that lonely and broken heart.
