We aim to create an environment that benefits both academia and industry, cultivates talents, and consolidates energy to pass on our traditional culture. We also hope to create an opportunity for children to immerse and enjoy themselves in traditional arts, so that our traditional values may be deeply rooted within society, and thus ensure long-term cultivation and promotion of traditional arts.

The NCFTA is a dynamic museum; we bring traditional arts into everyday life, and remind the people of traditional arts in their everyday life. Let us together, light up a SUNMAKE lifestyle of goodness and beauty.

7. Xihu Service Stop Miaoli

I suggest next time Taiwan should create a Service Stop mission. This would mean availing a unique stamp every rest area islandwide and then whoever completed the stamp will win an extraordinary Taiwan souvenir!

I mean it because every time I travel, I look forward to the designs and the food available in each service area. Taiwan truly understands the basic needs of its constituents. People traveling can have a rest, grab a snack, take some pictures, and enjoy the available claw machines, mini trains, water fountains, or some dinosaurs.

Is it also like this in your country? Service stops make travel in Taiwan convenient and comfortable indeed!

8. National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts Taichung

10 Amazing Places to Try in Taiwan

National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts used to be known as Taiwan Museum of Art. At that time, Taiwan Provincial Government upheld the policy whereby central government strengthened cultural development, on the basis of the needs of the people and recommendations from figures in the world of the arts.

On 8th February 1980, a meeting chaired by Chairman Lin Yang-kang resolved to establish the museum. In June, 1988, the museum was opened for operations under the auspices of the Taiwan Provincial Government’s department of education. In 1997 it was placed under the auspices of the Taiwan Provincial Government’s department of culture, and in 1999 the premises were closed for renovation.

In July of the same year, because of the policy decision to downsize Taiwan Provincial Government, it was placed under the jurisdiction of the Council of Cultural Affairs (restructured as the Ministry of Culture on 20th May, 2012), and its name changed to National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, as it became Taiwan’s first national level museum of fine arts
