What is Light Up Tv or 點燈電視節目?

It is the longest-running public welfare talk show in the history of Taiwanese television. It is produced by Damien Communications and produced by Zhang Guangdou, a former senior journalist of the United Daily News. “Lighting Up” has been publicly broadcast on China Television’s main channel, China Television HD channel, China Television, China Television’s main channel, Public Television HD Channel, and Public Television Channel 2. Why Light Up Tv invited the Filipina Cebuana Huang Chini on their show?

In the year 2013, Huang Chini was the first ever Filipino in Taiwan to be granted sponsorship for the “A Bridge to Home Project”. She had been the contributor of Lakbay Magazine since 2011 and she was encouraged by Lakbay Editor Asuka Lee to join the “A Bridge to Home Project” since she is the founder of PhilTai Organization now known as Hello PhilTai Tv.

Who can apply for the A Bridge to Home Project 2013?

It was reported that this A Bridge to Home Project started in 2010. Since that year until in 2013, the requirements were the same. The applicant must be a New Immigrant and must have a child or children in an elementary or high school. Another option would be a leader of a New Immigrant group.

A Bridge to Home Project was created to help New Immigrants who lack the financial capacity to fly back home. Many of the applicants were assisted by the school teacher of their children but to Huang Chini’s application, she wrote her itineraries and complete plan in English on her own.

The originality and uniqueness of her plan was recognized by the evaluation committee so she was chosen to present her project in a closed door meeting along with the other applicants that passed the preliminary selection. Fortunately, Huang Chini was one of the four finalists that would be part of A Bridge to Home Project 2013.
