What is Kabayan Chikatotohanan?
Kabayan means “coming from the same country or fellow country man”. Chika means to converse or chitchat and Totohanan means real or truthful. This new Hello PhilTai Tiktok Live program simply means “Real Talk” discussion on current issues and other matters that are relevant to Taiwan, the Philippines, other countries and culture.
It is a truthful exchange of experiences and opinions on the amazing things in Taiwan and the Philippines and other countries as well as an honest discourse on what to appreciate and improve in the aforementioned countries.

Teacher Ken is from Cebu, Philippines
Our second guest is Teacher Ken.
He is an ESL instructor since 2007 with curriculum development experience for English and standardized test preparation (including IELTS and TOEFL).
He holds a BA in English from the University of San Carlos, Philippines, and a CELTA certificate from Teaching House, New York.
Kenneth aspires to complete a Master’s Degree in Language and Literacy. Beyond teaching, he’s an avid traveler, an investment enthusiast, and a poet who sees language as a powerful tool to shape society and the world.

Our third guest is Ms. Lien Yao. She is an Entrepreneur, an Event Organizer in the Filipino Community at Hsinchu, Taiwan and a Filipina married to a Taiwanese with two adorable kids. She is also a Philanthropist.
“The only person you can be better than is the person you were yesterday.” This is what she lives by day by day. She competes with herself and see to it that she proves herself that she can be better than she was. When asked about the bad stereotypes towards the Filipinas married to Taiwanese, she said “prove them wrong”, without any hesitation.
