Stunning Water Front Restaurant in Tamsui 2025

I’ve been living in Tamsui, New Taipei City, Taiwan for almost eighteen years now but it’s just my first time to dine here at the Water Front Restaurant. I would be lying if I say I didn’t know about this place. In fact, I pass by this restaurant everytime I go for a stroll at Tamsui Riverside Park.

Since I live in Tamsui, I always prefer to go somewhere else if it comes to exploring food or discovering nice restaurants. So it took me almost 18 years to even try to check this place on my Google app. I thought of trying a different cuisine so I search a nice restaurant in Tamsui and this Water Front Restaurant is one of the places featured.

I would rate my experience a 10/10. The interior design of the place was stunning. The Indonesian cuisine fits the vibe and it matches my flavor. In short, the food was delicious. The staffs were very hospitable and helpful. They care to put down the tray to be able to take a souvenir picture for the customer.

The only mistake I did maybe was visiting the place on a winter. If it would be warmer, I would have worn a nice dress that matches the eclectic vibe of the restaurant.

When I read the reviews, most of the guests recommend this Bali Kabob Grilled Chicken for 880NT and on their official website, it’s also one of the chef’s recommendation.

I think I had the best choice for my meal. They also charge 10% for the service fee.

BBQ Chicken Satay is a tasty appetizer!

It’s 620NT good for 1-2 persons. This is also one of the recommended sets on Google map reviews.

This was a surprising order for me. It’s a Moroccan Crushed Lamb Stew Flatbread good for 2-3 persons. The flavor is so rich that I ate more than a piece. I personally recommend this for 980NT.

I just love my Tibetan Pu-erh Milk Tea for 230NT

It has that enough sweetness and flavor that relaxes my tummy.

This Passion Fruit and Orange Beer for 380NT is thirst quenching too.

This Black Currant Fruit Tea is 280NT. It’s the only least favorite from all of the things I had on my table.

I have nothing to say against the eclectic vibe of this Water Front Restaurant. It has stunning interiors that made me want to take more souvenir photos. The Riverside View was amazing most especially during sunset. It’s just so spectacular.
