Louis Vuitton, that 1 life challenge and his legacy?
First, LV or Louis Vuitton is more like “staple” for the women here in Taiwan.
Anywhere you go, women of different ages are carrying with them an LV.
As for me with all honesty, I never really cared about any brand since Taiwan is like a country of fashion. You see awesome and unique stuffs anytime and anywhere.

Louis Vuitton and women
Until after a few years of living here in Taiwan, I happen to meet more Filipina friends and there’s one of them who is pretty much into LV Louis Vuitton. That was also the same time when I decided to purchase the luxury brand Louis Vuitton because I find it interesting from her cheerful testimonies. I happened to own a tote bag, a wallet, a cosmetic pouch and a key holder which I consider my basics for “In the bag” must haves. I used to have matching bags and accessories or else it wouldn’t make any sense to me..
Louis Vuitton and second hand items
I didn’t purchase brand new for my first ever LV Louis Vuitton set. That friend I said who is into LV Louis Vuitton, knows a legit secondhand LV seller from Manila, Philippines so I took her advice and bought the set from that seller.
I felt assured I purchased an authentic Louis Vuitton set because the LV Shop in Taipei 101 was willing to engrave a name on it, name engraving is a free LV service, however I decided not to do it since I might sell it in the future which I did soon after a few months of using it. I let go of it because I felt uncomfortable carrying a bag worth thousands of NTD on my arms and I’m sort of unemployed. Ha!
“Never use the word “cheap”. Today everybody can look chic in inexpensive clothes (the rich buy them too). There is good clothing design on every level today. You can be the chicest thing in the world in a T-shirt and jeans — it’s up to you.”

As I have emphasized, I am not into expensive stuffs because it is not my kind of person to look the way others would wanted me to look like… I tried not to get myself involved to any spending that’s more than I can afford and besides the LV set I once owned was too heavy for me to bring with all the baby stuffs in it like the feeding bottles and all…But it was indeed durable and waterproof.. Oh and before I forgot, I also once owned a canvas sling bag (or idk how you may call precisely).
Unexpectedly, I was scrolling youtube back and forth browsing and skimming for meaningful stuffs to watch and I came across a title that said..
“A homeless boy that made Louis Vuitton”
I was too curious not to click it and that’s why I AM SHARING it to my readers with heartfelt appreciation to the determination of Mr. Louis Vuitton who never gave up on life despite all the misfortune.
I have been conditioning myself these past few days of becoming a BOSS Lady. I wanna create something that I truly love and make something out of it. The strong motivation, the inner drive as well as the inspiration came from my frustration of wanting to help Filipinos here in Taiwan and in the Philippines who are starving due to life’s inconvenience. If only I have millions, I could skip asking people donations and just help for as long as I can.
Louis Vuitton as an inspiration
Leo’s right. If I wanna help, I have to be rich and able because I have such a big heart to the needy. I am claiming my purpose in this world and I am so glad to come across this video.. It sparked me up in fulfilling my goal.. My target of achieving financial freedom to be able to help the needy.
Right now, I still have my cosmetic pouch and the key holder because these two are truly useful most especially when I travel within the country or abroad. I know for sure my fragile stuffs like cosmetics and swipe cards are safety.
This video changed my perspective somehow towards LV. I respect the brand more not because it’s the number one luxury brand in the entire universe but because the life and death situation that made the family continue to make a living even if the world deny them and do not believe in them…
I wish I could launch GEN soon..
It’s an abbreviation for Gen Elegant Nonessentials…As for now, I am still fillin’ myself with more inspiration. Because I just don’t wanna create, I wanna make a statement.

-Socrates
Guys, if you have a brain and that thirst to learn about life, you watch this video. I emphasized the word “brain” because these days, more and more young people are brainwashed. In fact, I am in a stage of my life right now that I don’t believe a hundred percent in our education system anymore in as much as what I see, instead of producing creative people, we are molding a worker and a consumer which probably make the rich goes richer while the poor becomes poorer.
What a life changing experience with sir Louis Vuitton.
“Don’t be into trends. Don’t make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way to live.”
